Executive Director
Jennifer Bingham, Executive Director, has dedicated her career to the field of early childhood education, bringing over a decade of experience in leadership, program development, and community engagement. She is passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Jennifer’s background includes managing educational programs and guiding teams to achieve excellence in care and curriculum delivery. Her approach is rooted in fostering strong relationships with families, staff, and the community, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in their educational journey. At Wellspring Academy, Jennifer is committed to implementing innovative practices and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, where each child’s unique potential is nurtured and celebrated. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exploring the outdoors and staying active in her local community.
MARISSA MARINAN
Education Director
Marissa Marinan, our Education Director, brings a wealth of experience to Wellspring Academy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Reading and Education and her Master's in English with an emphasis in Education. Marissa has 12 years of teaching under her belt, including roles as a site-level and education director. Notably, she's been a lead director at Sylvan Learning Center, showcasing her leadership prowess. Marissa's advocacy for inclusive education is remarkable, driving teacher training and classroom development to meet the highest standards. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, video games, and tending to her small farm, embodying a balanced approach to life and learning.
LIZZIE THOMPSON
Program Coordinator
Lizzie Thompson, Program Coordinator at Wellspring Academy, brings over eight years of childcare experience across diverse age groups and roles to her position. With a deep passion for nurturing children's mental and physical growth, Lizzie enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, and watching movies. She finds particular joy in spoiling her son, who was born in 2023. At Wellspring Academy, Lizzie oversees the school-aged program, focusing on life skills, character education, and social-emotional learning as critical investments in the future. She also manages the food program and is pivotal in mentoring educators, ensuring a nurturing environment for staff and students.
